Associated Motorways with the National Youth Services Council

Associated Motorways (Private) Ltd (AMW) proudly partnered with the National Youth Services Council for the Annual Youth Sports Fest held at Diyagama Stadium, marking 35 years of empowering youth through sport. The event was further elevated by the presence of AMW’s management and senior officials, whose participation reflected the company’s strong commitment to youth development and community engagement. The occasion was graced by Mr. Jawahar Ganesh, Managing Director of AMW; Mr. Tanuj Edwards, Managing Director & CEO of Orient Insurance; Mr. Shusaku Sato, Head of Yamaha; and Mr. Udara Gunasinghe, Head of Marketing at AMW, adding significant value and leadership presence to the celebration.

The three-day sports festival was filled with energy, teamwork, and inspiring performances, creating a platform for youth to excel and be recognized. One of the most memorable moments of the Youth Sports Fest was the recognition of exceptional athletic achievement. AMW proudly awarded:

  • A Yamaha FZ V2 to the Best Male Athlete
  • A Yamaha RAY ZR 113 Disc scooter to the Best Female Athlete
